Yesterday, we received a google review from someone talking about how terrible our customer service is and calling Tenantcube an incompetent product. I recommend everyone looking to purchase a rent guarantee read this review posted on google before you make a choice.
Firstly, this person has never contacted our team or purchased any rent guarantee from Tenantcube. Of course, you cannot find this person on any social media.
Secondly, he talks about rent guarantee as a product, Tenantcube is the platform, and we offer a rent guarantee program for customers who want complete peace of mind. Only 10% of our customers choose to purchase a rent guarantee program. We are completely fine with it, and our focus is on the platform to help landlord rent with confidence. Rent guarantee is an add-on like our tenant credit report, biometric ID verification, and ad-syndication services. Finally, I like the “suggest looking elsewhere” comment, if you really want to tell people to look elsewhere why don’t you share the name of the other rent guarantee provider that you prefer? We have heard from customers who bought our rent guarantee program that one of our competitors sales men told them that they are going to buy Tenantcube. Heard that the some competitor told customers that Tenantcube will go out of business soon. Well, we are still here and growing every day. Our technology usage has grown significantly in Q1, and we are looking to double that in Q2.

Bad reviews are not good for business. In this case, a bad rent guarantee review is only going to help set us apart from competition. It is sad to see our competitors play such dirty tactics to write a fake google review. We have seen companies write fake reviews to boost their own reputation, this is the first time I am encountering writing reviews to spoil a competitor's reputation.
This reminds me of the the early days of Freshdesk, now Freshworks(FRSH) when Zendesk hired someone to write nasty comments about Freshdesk. You can read the entire story here
I was at freshdesk when this happened, I have witnessed Freshdesk go from a bunch of cowboys to being valued more than Zendesk.
